Is It Just Me?

Posted by cnandl on July 17, 2007

Do you ever read other blogs and feel stupid?  There are some deep thinkers out in the blogosphere.  It seems most people are talking politics and I enjoy reading their take on the subject.  You can tell some bloggers are analyzing Washington from every angle.  I realize politics affect us all but I get tired of reading about it.  I read the news daily but I don’t sit there like “The Thinker” trying to come up with a new rant about Bush, Cheney, Pelosi, Clinton, etc.  Hell, maybe I wish I was as smart as they are (or pretend to be).  I just realized I’m not a deep thinker.  I laugh at toilet jokes and still giggle if someone farts.  This blog is going to be boring because I really don’t have much to say.  Maybe I will after I read today’s news.  I leave you with a deep thought from Jack Handy.  “If you catch on fire, don’t look in the mirror because then you’ll really freak out”.

Stolen Car

Posted by cnandl on July 15, 2007

I just had my 1999 Honda Civic si stolen right out of my driveway.  It was parked next to the room I was in all night.  Awake. On the computer.  I didn’t hear a thing.  They must be good.  The insurance company said they will give us a check in 30 days!  I don’t understand why they take so long.  They’ve been treating us like we did it ourselves.  Hell, they even checked our credit to see if we were low on money and desperate enough to commit insurance fraud.  The insurance lady says she’s going to talk to our neighbors about it.  I’ll bet she’s really going to ask them what kind of people we are.
